I did these a while back, but I still love them. I have seen a lot of these, but on glass and plastic containers. I don't think I have seen any on stainless steel canisters.
I have 6 canisters, but the other 2, I'm still trying to figure out if I want to keep what's in them.
Wanna know one of my kitchen helpers? I'm sure you have heard about or seen this before.
I keep drink stirrers in my canisters for leveling. Some use chopsticks.
Now, when I am measuring flour I don't have to use my finger or search for something to level it with. Clever!

ReplyDeleteI found your site from Funky Polkadot Giraffe. I have been searching for something large enough to store baking supplies in, what a great idea. Where did you find the stainless? Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable! I love the font. Thanks for linking them up!
ReplyDeleteLove these! I have some glass, stainless steel and ceramic canisters I'll be putting my vinyl labels on soon. Thanks for the leveling tip!
ReplyDeleteI haven't see the vinyl labels on metal containers either. And I really like it. Would also love to know where these containers came from.

Great idea! We have the same ones and I'll admit that one time I mixed up the sugar and salt and had to throw out the food I was making!
